Day 1 – Xi’an Arrival – Hotel Transfer – City Center Free Time
Welcome to China’s Ancient Capital
Welcome to Xi’an city, one of the most important historical sites in ancient China and the starting point of the Silk Road. Your tour guide and driver will meet you at the airport, train station, or railway station, then transfer you to your hotel by private car.
After check-in, enjoy leisure time around the city center. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore nearby shopping malls, local streets, or the area around the Bell Tower and Drum Tower at your own pace.

Day 2 – Terracotta Warriors – Huaqing Palace – Muslim Quarter
Qin Dynasty Army & Tang Dynasty Imperial History
After breakfast, your guide will take you to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, also known as the Terracotta Army Museum. This is one of the most famous historical sites in China and a must-see for any history buff.
Inside the museum, you will see the life-sized Terracotta Warriors, horses, chariots, and military formations created for China’s first emperor during the Qin Dynasty. Your guide will explain the scale of the Terracotta Army, the discovery story, ancient craftsmanship, and why this site is so important in Chinese history.
After a Chinese lunch at a selected local restaurant, continue to Huaqing Palace, a scenic site connected with Tang Dynasty romance, hot springs, imperial history, and ancient architecture. The palace is also linked with Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Guifei.
In the evening, return to the city center and visit the Muslim Quarter, one of the liveliest food streets in Xi’an. You can enjoy local snacks, noodles, grilled skewers, and the vibrant atmosphere of the old city.

Day 3 – Mount Huashan Day Tour from Xi’an
West Peak Cable Car, South Peak, North Peak & Cliffside Views
After breakfast, take a private transfer to Mount Huashan, also called Mount Hua, one of China’s most precipitous mountains. The drive from Xi’an usually takes around two hours.
Upon arrival, take the shuttle bus and West Peak cable car up the mountain. The cable car ride offers dramatic views of granite cliffs, forests, temples, and steep valleys. From West Peak, also known as Lotus Peak, you can enjoy some of the best views on Mount Huashan.
Your guide will help you choose the best route:
Easy route: West Peak cable car + light walking around West Peak
Classic route: West Peak → South Peak → nearby scenic spots
Active route: West Peak → South Peak → East Peak → Middle Peak → return
Extended route: Add North Peak if time, weather, and energy allow
South Peak is the highest peak of Mount Huashan and offers wide mountain views. Adventurous travelers may also ask about the famous Plank Walk, which is optional and at your own expense if open and suitable.
After the visit, take the cable car down and return to Xi’an by private car.

Then visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Great Ci’en Temple, two important landmarks connected with Buddhist culture and the Tang Dynasty. If time allows, you may also stop by the North Square of the pagoda, or enjoy the modern cultural area around Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City, also known as Ever Bright City.
Depending on your schedule, your guide may also recommend the Shaanxi History Museum or Small Wild Goose Pagoda as optional additions. These scenic spots are great for travelers who want deeper Chinese history, ancient architecture, Chinese calligraphy, or more cultural discovery.
