If a transaction triggers a fraud alert from our payment processor, we may request additional verification. If verification cannot be completed in time for urgent bookings, GoChinaQuest reserves the right to cancel the booking and issue a refund to protect all parties involved.

Exchange Rate Disclaimer

For credit card payments, charges are processed in Chinese Renminbi (CNY). Your issuing bank or card provider will convert the amount into your account currency at its own exchange rate and may apply additional transaction fees.

Due to these factors, the final amount shown on your bank statement may differ slightly from the quoted tour price.

To better understand how this difference may occur, please see our

  • Bookings that have been fully paid are protected against subsequent currency revaluation.

  • If full payment has not been completed before a major currency adjustment, any difference will be calculated transparently and will never exceed the confirmed quotation.

  • 15–21 days before departure: 70% refund

  • 8–14 days before departure: 50% refund

  • 0–7 days before departure: No refund

Important Notes

  • Different cancellation terms may apply to group bookings (10 or more travelers).

  • Penalties imposed by airlines, hotels, cruise lines, rail operators, or other third-party suppliers are non-refundable and will be itemized where applicable.

  • Final interpretation of this policy rests with GoChinaQuest.

3. Alteration of Itinerary

  • Changes requested before deposit payment are processed free of charge.

  • Changes requested after deposit payment are subject to an administrative fee of USD 25 per request.

  • Any additional costs charged by third-party suppliers are the responsibility of the client.

The responsibility for securing and maintaining correct travel documentation rests solely with the client.
